Allgaier's contract with Penske Racing had ended where she was a crew chief coach for Nationwide Series crew chief Mark Crnkovic when the 2009 Nationwide Series season ended, and had signed with Roush Fenway Racing in the off-season of 2010 to be a crew-chief for Skye Edwards in the Camping World Truck Series, where as of the 2011 season, Brittanie led Skye to win her eleven races.

Allgaier got her degree in automotive technology after graduating university at the age of nineteen years old. She is the younger sister of NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Justin Allgaier.
